Apple how could you?

Following is a summary of the recent event entitled “Let’s Rock” from Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, SF; hosted by Steve Jobs, CEO, Apple.
The recent event titled ‘Let’s Rock’ has surprised many of us. While some were hoping for rumors like that of Kevin Rose to be true, with the no-longer-widescreen display, accelerometer and new shades of aluminum, some were hoping for Apple to improve the range, rather than take it back a generation. iPod/iPhone top tip #1 - Screen shot

You will not believe quite how many requests I’ve had since the arrival of my current favorite gadget. Essentially, people have been asking me exactly how I have been taking screenshots of my iPod touch, rather than taking a photo with my camera. The answer’s actually surprisingly simple, and can be found quite easily by anyone playing around with their iPhone.
To take the screenshot, hold the Home Button (the square symbol printed upon a physical button at the bottom of the iPod/iPhone) and press the Sleep/Wake button on the top …

Now, it is beyond doubt that almost anybody on the internet will have heard of the brand new iPhone 3G, and its release on July 11th. What people don’t understand anywhere near as well how will the iPhone actually impact our daily lives.
iPhone Prices - Pay & Go + Contracts
Update: Pay & Go delayed in the UK until November.
O2, on their website, appear to be keeping the original prices for the iPhone Classic, through the release of the 3G update. Although this is subject to change, I highly doubt it …

What happens when Vista’s DWM sulks.

As some of you from Twitter may know, I tried to disable Windows Vista’s Desktop Window Manager for a few days to get used to the feel, and UI I am presented with on XP Pro, at work. I personally hate it,  but it does its job, everything works seamlessly, and performance is through the roof! I have to say, if it weren’t for the eye-sore, OS X would be in trouble (cue Snow Leopard, designed to stop W7 wiping the floor with them). I’m drifting.
