Mac Mini Microphone Issues (Quickie)

I had somebody asking me why none of their shipment of Mac Mini’s worked with their standard microphones. I wasn’t entirely sure either, so I had a look around on Google for some answers. I soon found the answer in the MacRumors forum.
“The Mac mini’s input is a line-level input, whereas the mic line on most analog headsets needs a mic-level input (to power the mic). The mini isn’t giving the mic any power, so it’s not going to work.

Twinkle - Geolocation Twittering from the iPhone

Anyone who’s had the iPhone for any length of time knows about the beautiful 3rd party applications, and the way they work with the feature-rich iPhone platform. iPhone Prices - Pay & Go + Contracts
Update: Pay & Go delayed in the UK until November.
O2, on their website, appear to be keeping the original prices for the iPhone Classic, through the release of the 3G update. Although this is subject to change, I highly doubt it …

What happens when Vista’s DWM sulks.

As some of you from Twitter may know, I tried to disable Windows Vista’s Desktop Window Manager for a few days to get used to the feel, and UI I am presented with on XP Pro, at work. I personally hate it,  but it does its job, everything works seamlessly, and performance is through the roof! I have to say, if it weren’t for the eye-sore, OS X would be in trouble (cue Snow Leopard, designed to stop W7 wiping the floor with them). I’m drifting.
By this point it’s worth …
