While the google phone (T-mobile G1) certainly isn’t revolutionary by any sense, it can be dubbed evolutionary. Yes, it is lesser when compared to the Apple 3g in terms of userbility, speed, and other factors, but the potential of the G1 is much greater than the Iphone.
