After reading the countless posts on Macrumors and other sites regarding the statement Jobs made about not working on a touchscreen Mac, I was inspired to write. Apple stated that there will be no updates/upgrades to their product line this year, despite rumors that the iMac and Mac Mini were to be receiving speed bumps before the new year. I guess I got my hopes up for nothing. The next Macworld event is scheduled in January 2009, so we will all have to wait until then. Read all about it here

Movie Theaters on their way out?

As home-theaters and other alternatives rise in the market, is it only a matter of time before movie enthusiasts stop going to theaters all together? Movies at a theater in general are becoming less and less appealing; not because of the quality of the production or the physicality of a theater but rather the experience all together. iPod Nano 4G Ad/Commercial Music

So it’s here, the new iPod Nano. I originally wasn’t too much a fan, but having seen it in real life, it looks a whole lot better than the photo’s. Doesn’t appear to be purposely designed for scratches all over it either (this time)…

It’s here! Unbelievably, for some reason, not found before, by the masses, Internet Explorer has been ported (well…) for Intel OS X. Using the Wine platform, IE6 and IE7 has been ported to Linux, then to OS X.
It’s built under GPL, so the source is freely available from the main site.
