Today, I spent a significant portion of it surfing the net, and I couldn’t help but notice a constant supply of ads, becoming more and more prominent on the web. At first I thought, well it could be a fluke, but after the amount I’d seen rose above 10, I knew that the place had changed. Even Google are doing a Flash Video Ad service.

This has got to be my favourite youtube-take-the-mic-out-of-ms style advert that I’ve ever seen on there. There’s also some pretty good design work put into the video. Congrats to whoever made it (romph?). I’m going to sign off the laptop now.

In this experiment, a number of tags, loaded in with XML are randomly shot around the stage. Try swiping them off the desk using the button in the top left. They will come back after about 2 or 3 seconds. You can also click on them, which brings up the same data that is in the Lee Brimelow Carousel v3. These guys really didn’t think through the advertising they’re churning out - unless they have amazing lawyers anyway. I found this debate on Flickr and thought it was relatively funny so I posted it here.
