Many people have got the idea that Apple’s latest version of the iPhone (allegedly 3G) will begin to hit the stores shortly after Steve Job’s keynote at the Apple-hosted WWDC ‘08 (World Wide Developer’s Conference).

As I cannot, and do not wish to disprove such theories, this article is aimed at those being interested by the latest rumours of it being even earlier than these predictions, and to explain the possibilities of either.

Many (and I mean many) people have been asking for a quick tutorial, teaching them how to create their very own blog. My response has always been "soon" or "when I get round to it" as the sheer magnitude of writing a series that answers all of these questions, all varying in their own way.
In order to compensate for the influx, I have started to write a rough schedule for upcoming articles. Provided I remember, I’ll be linking these articles up with this post.

Syslogd hogs your CPU.
Quick tip for all those Mac users out there. I spent a couple of hours with co-editor Simon Shand. I noticed his Mac was making an awfully loud air circulation. Because of my concerns that if left much longer, it would begin to erode part of the wall behind it, I decided to investigate.
We then went into ACTIVITY MONITOR (the OS X-equivalent of Window’s Task Manager) and discovered that SYSLOGD was taking up about 98% of the CPU. This also explains a blatant lack in performance-related areas.

I know it’s quick, and a little rushed, but I wanted to remind all you web designers in our audience that Adobe is about to begin (depending mainly on when you read this) the next (second) leg of the onAIR tour. The destinations include Stockholm, Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Munich and Milan.
Couple of words of advice:

Bring a laptop. Take plenty of notes as they cram a lot of stuff into a very short place, and keep up to date with Mike Chambers‘ and Lee Brimelow’s blogs, as they’ll be sure to cover what you miss.
