After reading the countless posts on Macrumors and other sites regarding the statement Jobs made about not working on a touchscreen Mac, I was inspired to write. No, I’m not writing a plea to Steve, begging him to begin development on a touchscreen Mac. I’m not going to be one of those guys. Voodoo’s Omen is one HELL of a rig with one hell of a price tag: $20,000 (!!) Anyway, if I was a wealthy son of a bitch I would be tempted to buy this. The internal specs are insane and that 7″ USB display is just damn sexy. Check it out for yourself, but try not to drool on your keyboard.

Apple stated that there will be no updates/upgrades to their product line this year, despite rumors that the iMac and Mac Mini were to be receiving speed bumps before the new year. I guess I got my hopes up for nothing. The next Macworld event is scheduled in January 2009, so we will all have to wait until then. Read all about it here

As home-theaters and other alternatives rise in the market, is it only a matter of time before movie enthusiasts stop going to theaters all together?
