After reading the countless posts on Macrumors and other sites regarding the statement Jobs made about not working on a touchscreen Mac, I was inspired to write. No, I’m not writing a plea to Steve, begging him to begin development on a touchscreen Mac. I’m not going to be one of those guys. What I’m here to say is that I wonder why there is so much hype and so much Apple bashing because of touchscreens. This innovation shouldn’t be tearing Apple apart! We should embrace it, cherish it, ...

Voodoo’s Omen is one HELL of a rig with one hell of a price tag: $20,000 (!!) Anyway, if I was a wealthy son of a bitch I would be tempted to buy this. The internal specs are insane and that 7″ USB display is just damn sexy. Check it out for yourself, but try not to drool on your keyboard.

Apple stated that there will be no updates/upgrades to their product line this year, despite rumors that the iMac and Mac Mini were to be receiving speed bumps before the new year. I guess I got my hopes up for nothing. The next Macworld event is scheduled in January 2009, so we will all have to wait until then. Read all about it here

As home-theaters and other alternatives rise in the market, is it only a matter of time before movie enthusiasts stop going to theaters all together? Movies at a theater in general are becoming less and less appealing; not because of the quality of the production or the physicality of a theater but rather the experience all together. On the site The Big Picture , they listed a few reasons why theater attendance is declining. These reasons included high prices, cellphone use/talking in theaters, availability of movies on Netflix ...

While the google phone (T-mobile G1) certainly isn’t revolutionary by any sense, it can be dubbed evolutionary. Yes, it is lesser when compared to the Apple 3g in terms of userbility, speed, and other factors, but the potential of the G1 is much greater than the Iphone. As years pass and the G1 has more time to sink into tech communities, I think we will only see greatness coming out of this device. Unlike apple, this phone is completely unlockable. Does this mean it is not as secure as the ...

After watching a review on Wired’s Gadget Lab podcast, I absolutely fell in love with this product. Basically, Logitech has created a device which plugs into your home stereo system, and allows you to play music wirelessly; whether it be from your iTunes Library, Pandora or anything else. It also may pick up your neighbors iTunes library which is also interesting. Using a remote, you have the ability to play music anywhere in your house. The entire system costs 400$ (box and remote), but the best thing is that you ...

To twitter from Skype, simply add username ‘twitter4skype’ to your contact list, and message the following (using Shift+Enter for new lines):
/account
username
password

Turning it off again. To turn it on/off, type #on or #off respectively. Use #exit to log out. Now I know, I just need to share it before the next unsuspecting victim has to abandon their account.
