I knew it! Mac users are ‘different!’

image I know I haven’t updated this place in a while, but I’ve been quite busy, and I admit, it’s my life, and I can do what I want with it. Unless you have any objections?

Anyway, for a long time, I have been sure that Apple users have always (or almost always) fitted into a specific category of people. Always graphic artists (or bipolar, if it’s any different) and the occasional developer. As the following few snippets from the article show, this has finally been proven on a large scale. Read on with the full article.

Psychologists claim users of Apple Mac computers have a distinct mind set that predetermines their responses to and interpretations of situations.

A study of 7,500 people found that Mac users are more liberal, less modest, and more assured of their own superiority than the population at large.

Mac users are also more receptive to their own inner feelings than PC counterparts and may feel both happiness and unhappiness more intensely. [bipolar?]

The survey revealed that people with a high openness rating (more open-minded) are up to 60 percent more likely to buy a Mac.

As you can see, it’s an interesting article, and I recommend you have a poke round at their site for more articles like that (linked above). Lastly, I’d  like to apologise for the slightly twisted humour drifting through this article, I’d like to provide an excuse but I can’t think of such a thing.

I thought that this is not enough, so I set out to prove this theory. It did not take me long to stumble across this image (above). Created by a Mac user, here’s the relevant article. I’m not saying that Macs are bad, I’m simply saying that angry Digg users sending negative comments (other blog) are in fact 30% more likely to be on a Mac ;). Nah. You know I’d never insult my trusty audience.

A second apology is required for my ’scatty’ writing. My excuse is I’m ill and hungry. Well I’d better fix that using ‘food’.
