Google’s Beta testing its new service designed to improve Google’s image library. The concept is that you ‘tag’ the image randomly displayed to you and an anonymous partner.

Perhaps could have worded the title better, but it gets the message across. I just switched over to Feedburner (used to use in-house methods) to see what all the fuss was about. So, joined up and claimed my feed. Not too bad. I admit, I had to do it about three times, as it never seemed to save my details. Great! Now what?

I know many people on the internet, and surprisingly, many of them still aren’t aware of what the term viral means. I will take this opportunity to remind you that this phrase has no relation to physical health, and if you have such a condition, you have my condolences. I have been searching around on the internet, having a look for some evidence to indicate why I should bother maintaining a nofollow structure on any software I write. It was originally a concept by Google, back in the Pagerank beta, to combat the abuse of link-based spam, but many predicted its failure. Has it really done anything? Well the numbers say no.

Today, I spent a significant portion of it surfing the net, and I couldn’t help but notice a constant supply of ads, becoming more and more prominent on the web. At first I thought, well it could be a fluke, but after the amount I’d seen rose above 10, I knew that the place had changed. Even Google are doing a Flash Video Ad service.
