What happens when Vista’s DWM sulks.

As some of you from Twitter may know, I tried to disable Windows Vista’s Desktop Window Manager for a few days to get used to the feel, and UI I am presented with on XP Pro, at work. I personally hate it,  but it does its job, everything works seamlessly, and performance is through the roof! I have to say, if it weren’t for the eye-sore, OS X would be in trouble (cue Snow Leopard, designed to stop W7 wiping the floor with them). I’m drifting.

One of two things are going to happen. Either Steve Jobs is up to his usual tricks and is investing in ways to send those who follow Apple’s patterns off the trail, or MacRumours (and others) have got something right.

The next thing I’d like to point out, which you are more than likely to know by now, considering you just pressed the link, is that Microsoft has released the latest version of Windows Live Messenger 7.0.
The reason why I am posting this so suddenly is a little attempt at settling the uproar in the …

So many people were highly sceptical at Microsoft’s latest attempt to broaden their horizons. Microsoft has long predicted its future as selling software, not as a package, but as a service. It has now broadened its goals to account for this. It has now offered many services, which almost take the entire of the internet, and its capabilities, and mulch them into one huge brand. This brand is about a year old, and is called Microsoft Windows Live. It includes all of the old features from MSN, …
